The change of menu and service made the difference....

One of our favorite spots in Kensington! Great cocktails, delicious pastas and some of the best service in the city.

The staff were really great and friendly. Food was unreal, we all got different pasta dishes and they were all 10/10

The food was underwhelming, especially compared to our usual dining experience at the parent restaurant, Il Portico, which is excellent. My girlfriend ordered the Spaghetti alle Vongole, hoping it would be as good as the one she had at Il Portico the week before, but it was horrible. My Tagliatelle with wild boar ragu was decent. However, the server was unhelpful and managed to spill red wine on my shoes and the purse of the woman next to me without apologizing. He quickly cleaned up the spill, but only provided me with a replacement glass that was less than a third filled. When we complained to the main waiter and the manager, they were unhelpful, with the manager showing no concern at all. We have decided not to return to this restaurant and have warned our friends to avoid it as well.

We stumbled upon a gem of a restaurant. The four of us had an amazing night with delicious food, great wine, and a lovely atmosphere. It was refreshing to discover a family-owned establishment in a city with so many options. We definitely plan on returning.
