Absolutely disgusted with Madisons , arrived for a meal with my family to be turned away

I have eaten here a few times and the place seems oddly variable. On one occasion the problem was definitely a lack of staff training. He made so many errors I actually looked round to see if we were on Candid Camera! On other occasions the service has been fine. The food is basically European. Try to get there early on the week when they tend to have good value early-bird menu. Several times when I have been there it has been full, either with lots of small bookings or large parties, so some people obviously like it. There is a small amount of parking nearby, but as long as you don't go when the nearby town-centre shops are open it usually isn't a major problem. Choose with caution, but on a good day you could do a lot worse.

Nice place but waiting time for food was way too long. I also found Mussel shells in my meatball starter but didnt bother complaining. Not sure I'll be going back again but did enjoy it.
