Bidra med feedbackIn general, it was just okay. The staff really impressed me during my visit.
I sat down at the restaurant, but unfortunately, I was not informed that the kitchen would be closing in 15 minutes. My sister, who arrived earlier, was also not made aware of this and was given menus. After finally getting the attention of the maitre d', I was told that there was no food available. This was quite disappointing. It seemed odd to close the kitchen in the middle of the day while still giving out menus. The man at the front of the house apologized, but I will not be returning. I would recommend going to the South Kensington location instead, as they always provide impeccable service.
I absolutely adore the food at LPQ, especially during the fall season, so I am eagerly looking forward to returning. The bread here is consistently fantastic and it's a lovely place to savor a nourishing and delectable meal and relax. The staff were friendly and hospitable.
I was going to sit in but seeing how busy it was and how dirty some of the tables were, I decided to get the cranberry and oat cookie as a takeaway instead. It was nice, a much needed treat but service was slow. Staff were pleasant but I had to stand there waiting a good few minutes before getting served. They did see me but chose to do other tasks!
We wanted a snack and ordered cappuccinos, almond croissant and a fruit and nut flute. Unfortunately, the cappuccinos came first and so were cool before the other things arrived. My flute was extremely hard, but I was told it was supposed to be like that. Disabled toilet not nice!
