Bidra med feedbackIncredibly slow service. three of us went to the petticoat lane market and ordered as soon as we set ourselves. it seemed like a good sign when they immediately broke out our drinks. we waited more than half an hour for our eating 3 x plaice and chips), but it had not arrived yet. other tables that arrived after us were already served. When we asked the waitress, she said it was two minutes. we waited 10 minutes, but no food yet. we put money for our drinks on the table and left. eating may be good or not, but we'll never find out because we don't go back.
Nice place..best fish in London 03 Mar, 2009 Best Fish Chips in the city
The cod itself was fine although the batter was a little greasy so I left some. Not a biggie; I would eat the fish again from here. But the chips were incredibly oily (without being soggy). They were crunchy yet absolutely saturated with oil (loads of oil oozed out when I pressed on the chips – they hadn’t been drained at all). Oil was the overpowering taste and left an unpleasant coating of lardy grease in my mouth, making them inedible. They got left.
This must be one of the best fish and chip restaurants londons, the fish was delicious and obviously fresh and chips perfect. what distinguishes this from others, the personal is a family business that gives them the feeling that they invited them to...their home.
I just went to the opposite and I'm not going anywhere else! we ordered the cod and chips and whitebait and it was all perfect! I think it is led by a father and son, they are so friendly and friendly. the portions are decent and their whole really good quality.
