New Indian restaurant on the church road in barnes. a large menu with many vegetarian dishes. the food was authentic and beautifully spiced. we had her veg samosas, which had beautiful crisp short pastries with ajwain seeds. not quite oily. the filling was wonderful and authentic in the did I do not think we had such delicious samosas outside of punjab. the tadka daal was how my gran would cook nostalgic **** of my kindness. we also had the disc ktikka, which did not need a choke, the quality of the wiper was excellent. well roasted in a tandoor ofen. daal makhni was probably the most tasty one we eat outside indiens. the food had not exaggerated exactly the correct amount of fat. not fat. also had a side of bhindi masala, which was also very tasty. beautifully presented and excellent.
Amazing service and food. Barnes has been missing this spot and I’m very happy it’s here. Dal Makhani was one of many excellent dishes.
We have been waiting for ages for the newest Barnes Indian to open and WOW it did not disappoint! Authentic Indian cooking at its finest the best we have had in years! Definitely will be ordering again very soon!
I dined at Ela and Dhani last night and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The food was truly authentic Punjabi cuisine, and the Malai Kofta was particularly outstanding. The service was delightful and attentive. This restaurant is a fantastic addition to the rather limited dining options in Barnes. I can't wait to return!
