Bidra med feedbackI found some reviews on geales and that made me try. I wanted to try something different than too hard place and that seemed to correspond to the bill. and the weather was nice and they could sit outside, a rare privilege in london! geales is a beautiful place, simple enough and deep wrenches but with enough raffiness that they feel it's worth the trip. at the corner of 2 quiet residential streets it is a perfect location to eat when the sun is out. the menu is simple and it does what it is famous for: fish. the wine list is simple, but a nice selection. we ordered the tempura tiger garnel, lemon mayonnaise, which were delicious and fresh, the shoft dish crab Koran...read more
It's been since I was last in Notting hill. only to live the corner (almost,) there are always the places that are closest to them that they forget most. trekking over shoreditch or drinks on the southbank – no problem. but a short jump to notting hill or on King’s road. I don't do it almost enough as I should. but finally, on a very sunny Saturday afternoon I went on the way to geales in notting hill. one of the most popular seafood farms in the region. In the world. a delicious meal. crab starter so fresh and tasty. fine muscadet well cooled. superb dover sole with butter and the best chips in london. good, friendly service. not the cheapest, but a perfect lunch.
Geales. this place is a classic for fish and chips, and it is obvious why: the fish and chips are great, as well as all other varied menu elements, and the service and decor are super inviting.
An old favourite. Geales was the first restaurant I went to when I arrived in London 35 years ago. How amazing is that. We had such fun the other night, the best Fish and fantastic Chips. My friend had the fish pie , Try it !! Every town need a Geales.
