We had the fixed menu, it was amazing value and amazing food.

I wanted to go somewhere special and had seen Crazy Bear advertised in a lot of places so I thought I would give it a try. When we were sat down we were in the corner which was quite nice a private but it is also right by the kitchen entrance so there were a lot of people constantly going in and out. We got the signature menu which initially sounded great but in hindsight, wasn't that good (rice was counted as a dish). Most of the food was ok, not bad but not amazing. They had forgotten the edamame beans, which wasn't an issue but had to be prompted. The main issue was the crispy pork belly because it wasn't crispy it must have either been microwaved, rewarmed in an oven or just sat out under a warming lamp for a while because it was chewy. For what we got in terms of food on that particular set menu, you are probably better off going to China Town and looking for a Chinese restaurant. The service was very good, when we told our server about the issues he immediately brought out the edamame and ordered us some new pork. The pork was crispier but still not that good. Overall, we had a good evening, it wasn't ruined or anything and the ambience was nice but sadly it's just not somewhere I would choose to go back to.

Best deal meal I have been, lovely food and good value for money. I definitely will be back soon.
