The atmosphere was so beautiful very good service and freendly and warm place soothing I would recommend 100 percent. Tashakor All lazar. I will definitely come back.
A true local gem! we have come here almost a decade and eating was always consistently fantastic, and well in portions. I'd say it's one of my favorite restaurants in london. there is no possibility that some of the negative reviews here are real! We moved away from the opposite in 2018 and therefore only occasionally picked up picking up when in the opposite and recently, when I dived to gather, I met the owner briefly and it was so frightening to know he remembered us and our favourite dish was gloomy. recommended: qabuli palouw (bodied with rice cooked with roast carrots, russines, mangles and pistachios) and shirin palouw (rause with orange peel, mangles, pistachios and grated carrots. carved with grilled, boneless chicken) (the chicken is deeper marinated than anything I ever tasted elsewhere and always cooked well.) when they eat here, I recommend the mint tea while they wait. and for the desert is the Afghan rice pudding divine.
Very satisfied with this charming place! Tried her legendary national court Kabuli palaw and it was amazing! If you are a fan of meaty dishes with rice, that is the place for you. Very friendly and welcoming service. Foods are not too spicy or salty. I highly recommend it.
Amazing Afghan restaurant in mile end. the wings were perfectly grilled. the most important were also delicious
Friendly and fast service, delicious food, and generous portions for a good price. We had the qabeli palaw and chicken skewer. The chicken was expertly spiced and grilled; juicy and soft with hints of crispyness on the outside. The palaw is definitely worth getting! It came with a full lamb shank underneath the pile of spiced rice (cooked in the broth of the lamb), carrots, pistachios and raisins. The meat was juicy, tender and fell off the bone easily. Both dishes were huge. I’d recommend getting a palaw to share perhaps add one of the smaller dishes (dumplings or something similar) if you’re really really hungry. The place has a tandoor in the seating area, allowing you to watch naan bread being made to order. They also offer hookah smoking in the outdoor area.
