Bidra med feedbackI found a fly in my meal, but the staff promptly replaced it with another dish. However, they had run out of the classic items, so they substituted them with something else.
I have never been disappointed by Café Royal. The atmosphere, live piano music, and food are always wonderful. I have visited three times now and would highly recommend it to others.
This was my second visit to Cafe Royal. The first time was about six months ago when my husband and I received a gift voucher for afternoon tea. We had the Jubilee afternoon tea and it was fantastic. We were very impressed with everything. This time, I went with three friends to celebrate their pregnancy. We had the regular afternoon tea. I was not as impressed this time. The staff was friendly and attentive, but there were some things I didn't like. Due to the pregnancy, we could only eat two out of the four sandwiches offered. The service was inconsistent, we had to ask for water and had trouble paying at the end of the meal. Despite the lack of busyness, we did not receive all the baked goods promised. However, the scones were delicious. It cost £80.50 per person without champagne, including service charge. It felt overpriced for what we received. The restaurant has a nice dining room, but the service and food were not up to standard, so I will not be returning.
What a beautiful place to enjoy in the afternoon. my daughter to birthday. the staff was very friendly and helpful from the beginning we felt very special eating was beautiful and the staff advised us on curses and tees. would definitely go back.
Booked as part of my wife’s Christmas present. The venue and staff were absolutely amazing. They could not have been more helpful and attentive. Their knowledge on the different types of tea available and the history of the venue was extremely impressive and interesting.
