I've been here a few times already and every time has been an absolute pleasure.
We have lived in this area for years and have to say, we are always pleased with:
Recent pie experience the Micks tempted to revisited this local bakery at the Rochedale South.Have not been back over three years and it seemed to be quiet as a local bakery.Ordered exactly the same pie as last time steak and mushroom. It appeared that the golden brown color of the pastry was attractive; however the pastry was still the same not soft enough. Fillings again were minced beef with not much mushrooms. Definitely there are rooms needed to be improvedPrevious rating: July Feb
The experience of a not quite tasteful Curry Pie at Rochedale Village reminds me the episode of enjoying a delicious Curry Chicken Pie down the road not far away from the shopping centre at the Corner Bakehouse. As a rule of thumb, I found those bakery running by Vietnamese do have quite good standard, this bakery is one of them. Although they do not serve my favorite "Banh Mi" (Vietnamese Roll), the pie that they serve is not bad. That chicken pie had a very strong curry flavour accomplished with lots of protein with soft pastry. Importantly, the service is very friendly, no wonder they have been at the same spot for years. It is a local gem.
