Shingle Inn - Logan City

On a walk around the sunny bench plaza and we go for a coffee stop. the friendly barista takes our order and our hot drink is ready in a few minutes. the cafe latte is beautifully presented, hot, strong and refreshing. a very good coffee rating 4.5!

It didn't feel to go for a lot for a little bit because of the heavy rainy day, so decided to stay close to my work for a brekkie. I checked my recording that I hadn't been back in this shingle inn since a while. as the first customer of the day I was not warmly welcomed by the staff. ordered a flat white to go with a scorpion with jam. it did not take long to have both the food and the drink on my table. honestly, they looked great; but the first swallow of my flat white was a tear. a third of the content was foam and the taste was burned with a lukewarm temperature. fortunately the scorps was not bad; especially the refreshing cream has saved traces. previous review: Aug...read more

Tried the “famous buttercake” on the sunnybank $2 food trail and had regret many. I had much better cake from a package. the coles mudcake is in comparison gourmet. it was dry and overwhelming sweet. the icing up was hardened into a kind of dish, so I just scraped off all the cake part from it, but there was a kind of half cream, half icing filling through the cake that scarcely in the position to like it, even during sharing with a friend, looking at all the other discarded paper dishes, I wasn't the only one that all icing never buy again from here.

Shingle inn at sunnybank plaza, on the main street, I can't believe I'm passing by such a big deal and never stopped. I am glad that I did it, I was quite hungry, so I decided to have a late breakfast that I ordered the haloumi and Mediterranean sweet salad and a brewed t2 soy chai. everything absolutely delicious. the customer service was great and the 3 employees on this day were all very helpful with menu choices and in the rule go the extra mile. I'm sure I'll be back. Thanks. sards.

I have recently become a regular here, the lovely girls working there are doing a great job! Wonderful service for an understaffed cafe, great coffee and I am yet to try their delicious looking food.
