Bidra med feedbackI came here recently for the first time in months but I found that the quality has dropped quite a bit. The bread is more oily now which turns me off slightly and it doesn't taste too fresh. Maybe it was an off day and I was just unlucky so I may give it another go some other time.
First impression * nice Ambiance * decent and spacious Presentations * neatly stacked Food * nothing vegetarian all with egg Staff* ok Prices* good Service* quick Conclusively * can skip
My relationship with Breadtop has seen ups and downs. Not that there's anything wrong with their goodies. But I do need to watch what I eat...once in a while. 'It's not your fault. It's mine.' Kinda thing. Recently I have been obsessed with their Custard Cream Horns ($1.80) which comes in 2 flavours; Vanilla and Chocolate. Both are delicious. You can ask at the checkout for refridgerated ones like I always do, or just pick them up from the front like normal people. Milk de Crunch, a soft bun with cookie dough top, has buttery and milky center. 10 seconds in the microwave make it tastier than already is. I also take home Swiss Roll ($8.50) for my afternoon tea from time to time. My savoury picks are Cheese Baguette ($2.80), Pork Floss Bun, and Naan. Special mention on BBQ Pork Filo ($1.40), tastes so good, I could go through 10 of those in one sitting. Not even kidding. Good stuff!
I like this Breadtop, ever since it changed owners. Besides buying their wide selection of breads and cakes, they have coffees, Hong Kong milk tea and hot chocolate. You can grab it in a cake and coffee deal for $7.50. Seems popular with senior citizens. The coffees are $3.50 and the Hong Kong milk tea is only $2 with any purchase! Can't think of anywhere else that will do Hong Kong milk tea in this Westfield. A nice change. They have a sit down area and now again I grab morning tea here. Love the Strawberry Gateau, Green Tea Chiffon and egg tart. So many yummy treats here in a lighter, non rich texture. We get their cakes for birthdays too. It'd be nicer if they served eat in cakes/breads not on paper plates... There must be a reason as they used to have proper plates when they managed the upstairs store. It would be good if the sit down area was a tad cleaner. Plenty of space for a pram though you might have trouble balancing a tray of bread and manoeuvring around the shop. Perhaps park the pram on the side, get breads then pay. Really close to the nice parents room on level 1. Also we always make a stop nearby on the coin operated vehicles for a play nearby outside Aldi. instagram.com
