I’ve been coming here for three years and it never disappoints. The food is always delicious. The ambience is relaxed and very pleasant. Highly recommend. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Special Salad, Pizza
Great food! I've been there for decades and I've organized meetings there. The wine list is excellent!
I was excited to finally visit this establishment and take my parents out to a cute restaurant. When we arrived we weren?t hungry for food because we had eaten earlier so we decided to just get dessert. The restaurant was cute and my parents were really excited. Once I asked for just the dessert menu, my server looked shocked and got the manager owner. The manager told us that this was not okay but he?ll let it slide this ONE time, next time we had to get dinner. I was shocked but didn?t want to argue because I just wanted to have a nice time with my family. I have never in my life been instructed as to what I was required to order or not allowed to order at a restaurant. My mom felt extremely uncomfortable and offended as if we were accused of doing something wrong. Next time, if you?re going to serve us regardless consider saying nothing. I thought the establishment was really cute and came here to spend my hard earned money on your menu items. It was our first time visiting and all of us felt uncomfortable the entire time and instead of gaining potential customers you?ve turned us all off.
The menu choices were good. Food was also very good. Prices were a bit high for a place that needed a serious facelift on the outside, with old asbestos shingles and some obvious cheap exterior repair work. We were happily surprised at the hidden courtyard and backyard dining areas. There are also two completely separate interior dining rooms. So why not five stars? I can overlook a somewhat shabby exterior. After all, the service was good too. The problem was the actual host (who might be an owner, not sure). There was no smile or anything welcoming about the way we were greeted. I was sternly asked if I had a reservation, even though the place was at around 30% of capacity, so the question struck me as pretentious and unnecessary. If I were there to join a larger party, I clearly would have shared that information upon entry. We were not given a choice for our table, even though we were the only ones eating in the forward courtyard area. The guy didn't engage with us one bit and didn't even supply menus, so as a former restaurateur, I think he may need to reassess his role there.
