Bidra med feedbackI 've been looking forward to the opening of this place since I started seeing the 'coming soon ' signs because I always go to the Aldi this is located next to. Was excited to see it open today and went in on my lunch break. Got one of their signature Grandma slices (not pictured as I scarfed it down) as well as a margherita slice (pictured here), both slices were so dang good! The sauce was very fresh and had a great taste. Inside the restaurant has a very nice cozy atmosphereand lighting, tables and booths with mug glasses, lemon decoration theme. The person who helped me was friendly too. I look forward to dining in soon. Thanks!
Phenomenal pizza. Def reminds me of what pizza from NYC taste like? Ive been to numerous places in Brooklyn, Staten Island and Manhattan? this competes
Had the Margherita pizza. Was very good. The sauce is sweet and the pizza is cooked well. Crispy crust, nice balance of cheese and sauce. Real authentic Italian pizza that will have people coming back for more!!!
My first visit at II Limone and it did not disappoint one iota! I ordered pick up and the phone was promptly answered along with great customer service. My order was ready upon pick up and neither the gorgeous pie or meatballs pictured here were anything but perfection! I will be back. Nuff said. The end
I found out about this place from a news article and it was very hyped up as an authentic Italian pizzeria and they specifically mentioned how good the meatballs were in the article. I am tempted to rate this pizza shop lower because of how far it was off from the hype. I am a pizza freak and I am unbiased in my pizza reviews, I own a pizza shop as well. We called and ordered a large pizza for $18 and an order of 2 meatballs which was $12.50 which was a shock, very expensivefor meatballs. The meatballs were good meatballs but I wouldn?t order them again and Antonio?s Pizza right down the road in Bayberry plaza has much better ones, I think about Antonio?s balls a few times a week. These meatballs from IlLamone were very dense, they use a lot of breadcrumb and a very finely ground beef. The sauce seems to be made in house and is phenomenal and the meatballs came with a little bit of ricotta on the side. The pizza was very thin and handstretched. It was a good crust but our pizza was under cooked, the crust was gray, and the cheese wasn?t melted very much. They use the same sauce on the pizza as they use in their pasta and on their meatballs. Like I said, it is a reallygood sauce but it seems out of place on the pizza. The sauce is more tangy and it?s powerful, it seemed to overpower the rest of the ingredients. Overall I would be happy if this was the only place to get pizza, they do a good job but thepizza being under cooked and the meatballs costing so much for so little was a turn off. Antonio?s pizza in bayberry plaza does a very good job, they seem to be inconsistent with their dough and the thickness so both places have theirdownfalls.
