Röski - Liverpool

Good evening. Nice food and service. Fab for a special treat!

We were thrilled by eating in Roski, although we heard negative comments from friends. Negative reviews were mainly about the food they did not find particularly interesting and the service that was too ruthless. And that's exactly what we thought: We didn't like the food that was terrible (we appreciate the work behind it and we don't consider ourselves as a culinary critic), but for a restaurant that seeks a level and pretends to be a Michelin star, dishes quality / interest is just too low. After each court we hoped to be better surprised or amazed by the following, but that never happened and made us feel throungh a series of insipid records. The room service was also very disappointing and not appropriate from our point of view. I was called all night my girlfriend who gave me the impression of not being taken seriously as for a legitimate client, and automatically overlooked when I asked to clarify something about the bill with silly laughs (we felt a little shameful to ask). Secondly, waiters sometimes brought the following dish while we had eaten the previous one and made us feel faster to eat. We do not believe that this meets the standards expected in such a restaurant. Even though we didn't look like this, we have previous experience in high-level restaurants (e.g., we went to l 'Enclume a few months ago or Ferran Adrià 's restaurants) and Roski 's experience is just as good as they were. We look forward to the Guide Michelin ceremony for UK restaurants next week. The best.

Another glorious night of food and drink at Röski. We have dined here on many occasions and are constantly surprised by how the food can possibly be better than the time before but it is. The food may be the focus of most of the people that visit but the staff are excellent as well , they make the restaurant feel such a nice place to be from the moment you step through the door. Anton and his team have created a menu that just makes you want to come back time after time (we do) and it is alway accompanied by a soundtrack of music that seems so right for the evening .
