Bidra med feedbackThis was a great place to eat, excellent customer service, amazing food and excellent hygiene, we will be coming here again.
Ordered here a few times for the kids, definitely family friendly and can even find some little bites for me and the other vegans/vegetarians in the family. Staff in the restaurant and the delivery drivers are always lovely and polite would definitely recommend it I’ve said it before but it’s overall A good establishment with great staff 100% sure I will use these again to fulfil a little fast food fix
Decided to give it a try as there weren't many reviews. The price is reasonable. I ordered 3 piece chicken fried to takeaway. The chicken was.....only warm, so it lost the crispy-ness. The cashier girl was friendly and welcoming.
Not ordered from here for a long time, but me and the BOY were hungry so decided we fancied some chicken. Placed our order for a family feast told that it would take 40 minutes. We had a phone call telling us it would be delayed then numerous texts telling us it was on it’s way. It took 2 hours before we received our order, they gave us extra fries but they were lukewarm. Chicken was tasty but don’t intend ordering from here again.
TO DELIBERATELY PICK YOUR NOSE whilst in the process of preparing an order for a customer is the height of unhygienic, desperately evil, arrogant, nonchalant, toxic, malicious, inhumane, inhuman, imp like and wicked behaviour that I 've witnessed first hand in the catering industry. It was an eye opener. I urge you to not be fooled by the white décor. It 's merely a distraction away from the irrefutable fact that the people that handle your food have hygiene standards that would make a sewer rat feel comfortable. It 's nothing short of a Piggery. What you 're about to read is a first hand account of my visit to Chunkies 86 prescot road, Liverpool on 05/02/2019. I 'm no stranger at Chunkies as I 've visited the place quite a few times in the past. I however stopped going there a few weeks back when I was constantly getting orders that just tasted completely 'wrong '. The quality of the food was nothing to write home about, and on more than one occasion, I felt disgusted after consuming orders from this chippie. I 'm used to throwing away most of it due to utter disgust. I would retch after eating, and it felt as though my body was rejecting the food. I decided to visit the place on 05/02/2019 to order a simple meal. Not long after I walked into the service area, one of the employees greeted me and informed me that they had just got the chicken out of the pressure cooker. I then proceeded to place an order for a 'chicken and chips meal ', but stayed at the front counter to inspect the preparation of my order. I even dropped tips too. The same employee that informed me that the chicken was 'fresh ' out of the pressure cooker went to the hot plate where the chicken is usually kept and backed me as he seemingly took my chicken out of the hot plate and placed it in the chicken box. It looked like he was shielding what he was doing. While he was backing me, I noticed that he would turn around and quickly look at me and then turn back to facing the hot plate. I noticed after he did this twice (very quickly) he used his right hand to pick his nose while seemingly standing over my order and still backing me. Yes you read that right. I simply couldn 't believe what I just saw. Maybe he thought I wouldn 't notice because he was backing me ? That explains why he turned around to quickly check if I was watching what he was doing. It also explains why placing two pieces of chicken in a chicken box took far longer than usual. When he was done contaminating my food, he put everything in the standard take away bag and was about to hand it to me. I immediately rejected it and informed him that I saw him picking his nose while touching my order (direct contact). I even used gestures to signal to him what I had just seen. While in the process of rejecting the order, he had a cheeky grin on his face. A grin that you 'd see on the face of a deceiver and someone who thinks they are crafty. He responded by saying (and demonstrating) that he was cleaning his eyes instead! Pathetic. Cleaning the mucus out of your eyes while touching my food ? A caterer SHOULD NOT have their hands ANYWHERE NEAR their face while touching someone else 's food. NOPE. So his pathetic response was further proof that he was FULLY AWARE of what he was doing and was definitely not prepared for me to actually challenge his devilish ways. I requested a change and watched him use tongs this time. No sanitiser was used and no he did not wash his hands in between. The other members of staff just stood there which raises the question: Were they aware of what was going on ? Are they just as wicked as him ? Btw I also have this review up on Google, but shortened it due to the 4,000 word limit. CHECK THIS OUT: On the way out, I saw him make a raised arm gesture at my back. I saw this from the side of my eye as I was walking out of the building and turning right onto Prescot road. Imagine the arrogance! Such a wicked minded and EVIL SOCIOPATH should not be ANYWHERE NEAR a kitchen preparing food for other people. I got home and binned the contaminated garbage. As they say 'Many days for the rat, One day for the CAT '... This is certainly true. I 've learnt that there are INHERENTLY EVIL people out there, and they could be handling your next order. Burning Question: How long has my food been deliberately contaminated ? Never again.
