Virgilio's Pizzeria Wine - Littleton

Still great after all these years! I wish the garlic knots were a little more “gross good” like they were at the previous location, still very yummy even despite that huge menu.

The good:When you walk in you get that, Italian Restaurant vibe…with the wine cork lined walls, to the family photos on the wall and the wonderful smell of Italian food!The pizza was delicious and to be honest could have been cooked a few minutes longer as the middle was a little soft. This will not lower my rating as the pizza ingredients were top notch! I imagine people may complain if it’s overcooked in the brick oven so maybe the chef was being cautious. Next time I’ll let the server know to keep in a few minutes extra!! The cheese on the pizza is amazingly flavorful cheesy goodness!! The jalapeños were not hot but again will not hold that against them ? the meat toppings were fresh tasting. The crust was nice and crispy!!!The mozzarella sticks were almost perfect, again a little longer in the over and again, this will not lower my score! ?The house wine was divine and Lucious ?My wife ordered an aperol spritz that was out of this world! ?Her salad was fresh, crisp and oh so tasty according to her!! The menu has so many options that you will have a hard time figuring out what you want. I appreciate the good pizza and atmosphere is warm. Service was not bad. BUT charging $9 for a 16 oz 7% beer is absolutely unconscionable. I will not patronize this place again.

A patient Coopers' Hawk on the fence at Virgilio's... maybe on the waitlist?Sanitized everywhere I looked. Very clean considerate and tasty. Better pizza than the new place on Wadsworth. Greatest restaurant you will find in Littleton and its worth the drive as our Denver people will agree. They drive here to see us or is it to go to Virgilio's.
