Went in for the first time a few days ago for dinner. Had great service and the food was awesome. So were the beers. We were a little apprehensive because of some of the reviews about not very attentive service and we also had a group of 7 people. Needless to say the only thing that was missed was a side salad my wife ordered but the food was so good she didn't even need it. It was even a trivia nite and lots of people there and we had no problems ordering drinks or anything. Will definitely go back
I had the dry rub wings. I always order wings, dry rub if available, these where just not good— no flavor.
Can 't ever go wrong with Ground Control! Such an amazing place for the Westside to be able to go to! Great service, excellent menu, and an even better beer list!! Ian the Beer Guy and team know what they are doing at Ground Control!! I highly suggest that everyone try them out. They are very good at evolving and creating one of the best atmospheres you will get. From the drinks to the food you can 't go wrong and you won 't be disappointed. It 's always great to go to an establishment like this where you can tell the staff genuinely enjoy being there. This truly is a local gem and one that deserves to be highlighted!
You advertised for a themed trivia night on your business page and every table was reserved for the theme trivia. The theme trivia didn’t happen until everyone insisted. The owner should be aware of what’s going on with events planned if they have guests coming for them.Multiple times I’ve given this place a try and had many issues every time. One time most the food was burnt. We were ignored for 15-20 minutes before being served even when the owner was standing at the counter. Tables were left dirty for an hour after guests left. The soda tasted terrible like the machine needed to be fixed. The server acted like a basic rum cocktail wouldn’t be an option. The employees often don’t dress professionally.I’m all about helping struggling businesses but am disappointed that the owner is asking the community for help and money but isn’t operating his business at a higher standard.EDIT: I was talking about multiple issues on multiple visits. The table was dirty on a different visit. Mine isn’t the only review that mentions slow service, being ignored for 20 minutes after arriving, dirty tables, burnt food, etc. Your angry replies to reviews and the many reviews you have received with the same issues show you don’t care about fixing the issues or about your customers.
