The Wine Cellar - Lisboa

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and were knowledgeable about Portuguese wine. The wine and port (see photos) we tried were fantastic. Refreshing, light, and easy on the palate. They have a wide selection so it’s best to speak to the staff for recommendations based on your tastes. The food was good, especially the local chorizo. Overall a great experience and good introduction to Portuguese

Nice seat with very accommodating hostess/waitress. My polvo salad was OK, but not as good as others I've had. My spouse's fried fish was mushy and we were very disappointed. (To their credit, they comped us on her meal, but it should not have happened in the first place. My spouse's red wine was satisfactory, as was mine, but mine was twice as expensive as hers and not worth the extra cost. We had much better reds elsewhere at less than the price of my spouse's.

Loved the food and wine at this spectacular wine bar also i have to applaud the staff for excellent service. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area

I ordered the codfish and asked for an appropriate wine to go with the dish. They had me taste two delicious wines that went great with the very tasty codfish. The waiters are very friendly and the ambiance is very good as well. Nice place!

Totally put myself in the hands of the staff and was happy I did. Very knowledgeable and fun. Provided great recommendations for wine. Atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Nice choice of music for the evening too.
