Bidra med feedbackA hidden gem! Great Cape Verdean food and service is friendly and fun. Cachupa must be tried, and the muamba is delicious! Avoid the wines, which aren't worth it here, and you'll eat great food at a ridiculously low price. At night expect traditional live music and even some dancing.
The food is acceptable, the down side is that the waiter tried to get advantage of us by over charging for our meal and not giving the correct change after we paid. I don’t recommend eating here.
Do not be fooled by the good reviews. This place is really not good. Although the chef is really nice, the food lacks in flavour, presentation and overall tastiness. There are much better (and cheaper options) of really good cachupa in Lisbon where the food will not be tarnished by a looming bathroom odor that fills up the whole restaurant. The space looks like it has been abandoned for over a decade and I’m sad to say that the food reflects the general feel of the whole restaurant. Save your money and skip this place.
