Bidra med feedbackThis is my favourite bar restaurant in Lisbon. It's not a 5* eatery and doesn't pretend to be, but if you want good traditional Portuguese cooking at a reasonable price then you could do a lot worse. it's also an interesting spot to just sit outside with a cold beer and you'll need one if you walk up the steep hill from Restauradores!
Super friendly restaurant with very much choice. All is fresh and good quality. Staff and service here is great!! One of my favorite restaurants in bairro alto
Tonight we ate our food. eskalopes and portsauce. with rice and fries served, but rice delicate, fresh and flavored by portsauce. many delicate meat, very good value at about Portuguese family at the next table recommended to us what to order next time. we were interested when what they saw eating so well, but we had no idea. see photo for their recommendations.
Tjis place was on the corner opposit oyr hotel in Bairro Alte and we did not want to stray further to eat. Nothing pretentious here but decent honest food at a decent honest price! A bit of history told in a story in the menu was interesting. We had lunched so were looking for something tadty but light and stuck to the tapas on offer. A good selection from which we chose 4 dishes which came up quite quickly served by a pleasant Brazilian waitress. We had a bottle of the ubiquitous Monte Velho red served by a very nice guy and the bill came to 20 euros. The moelhas were splendid! Give it a go!
Sardines and mixed grill were very tasty and the staff warm and attentive. Nice outdoor street scene. Really enjoyed our experience there.
