Confeitaria Lisboa

Take away baguette from yet another of a rash of Lisbon mock bakery cafes that have sprouted like mushrooms in the last two years. Clean, modern with prices to match the modern era. No bargains here. Vegetable tart and bread selection very good but own experience a dead loss. Expensive baguette supposed to be tuna salad. Had to open it up after a couple of bites to see if there was actually anything in it as the taste was pure bread. Smear of tuna that needed a magnifying glass to locate, three wilted strands of rocket and three slices of boiled egg. Not going in there again even if I happen to have my magnifying glass handy. Plenty of other cafes in the same street so no big problem.

I recommend this place if you want to do a take out order. Otherwise the place is always full and noisy. Many young people who order a little and stay there with groups of friends which is very noisy The male staff who assisted me was very polite and helpful. Have a good variety of healthy foods. No menu to choose from and see the price. Management should put a menu for people to see. Imagine Starbucks with no posters for menu!

It was a good place to have a break in the City. The place has lots of space, with Wi-fi and different choices of what to eat. I ate a Scone cake with blueberry sweet and butter (1,7€ and a natural juice of watermelon (1,8€ . I recommend you the yogurt with two toppings (2,6€ because it's more than enough and cheap (like 300 g of Greek yogurt plus two spoons of two toppings (they have fruits, chocolates, cookies, muesli and others .

Located on one of the most important Avenues, you'll find plenty of choices for a quick snack, a brunch or a simple cofee. Fresh and tasty pastry and juices made by order are a nice touch to this sometimes crowded place!

I have visited a many of pastry shop around Lisbon. But among those I found these delightful pastries prior to come Confeitaria Lisboa . Here everything I tried seems freshly made and taste great. The price of the food is good as comparing to the other places and facilities. The shop is nice and cozy. The garden behind is amazingly beautiful. I highly recommend to have a visit and try their food...
