Bidra med feedbackFood is too pricey. Not even an air-conditioned resto. 700 pesos for Bulalo is too much. Not coming back here.
This Filipino restaurant is perfect - it's nice and convenient, with a great menu and delicious food. The customer service is excellent too. Great job!
Stay away from this restaurant as they charge you wit an unreasonable price which is ridiculous. I ordered a plate fo Shanghai fried rice with s sunny side up and a glass of mango juice. Guess how much? 380 piso! My first and last in this restaurant!
Do not under any circumstances visit this restaurant. I suggest that Google remove it from their list. I went there with a friend and we ordered Pinakbet for P200 and Bulalo for P600. Although they did not have a price list for the fish kilawin, we decided to order it anyway. They served us a small portion of kilawin with a lot of garnishes like ginger, onions, and bell pepper. Can you believe they charged us P600 for that subpar kilawin? Seriously, do not make the mistake of dining at this place or it will ruin your vacation.
After our tour of Taal, we decided to stop for dinner in Lipa on our way back to Manila. We discovered Hapag Filipino Restaurant online while searching for the best Filipino restaurants in Lipa City. We ordered bulalo soup, fried tawilis (small fish), steamed vegetables, tortang talong (eggplant), and grilled squid. We ended up ordering extra tawilis and squid because we couldn't resist dipping them in the delicious sauces. The food was just right in terms of taste - not too salty or oily. The serving sizes were perfect for our group of six, reminding us of a home-cooked meal made by a Lipa family. For dessert, we enjoyed a complimentary set of sweets including macapuno, ube yema, and pastillas. While the prices were slightly higher than average, the quality and taste of the food made it worth it. The service was quick and the staff was attentive. Parking was available in front and on the side of the restaurant. I highly recommend Hapag for anyone craving simple, home-cooked food in a relaxed setting. I will definitely be returning to Hapag when I visit Batangas again.
