Schloss Cafe - Linz Stadt

Our AirBnB host has proposed to us castle cafe and reserved for us. Your summer menu has BBQ on the terrace. We came around 7 and sat at a table near the wall with a great view of the Danube. Reservations are highly recommended to get a good table with a view as the tables on the terrace are quickly filled. The lamb dogs from the BBQ were very good and we also enjoyed an excellent mushroom risotto. Enjoy a good bottle of wine and enjoy the view as dusk made for a very relaxing evening. Our waiters were dedicated and attentive to a fun dinner. All in all, the food was quite good and the prices were very reasonable. I recommend the castle café on a beautiful late summer evening!

Thanks to a colleague who lived in Linz, we came to this beautiful restaurant. The panorama over the city is great as well as the food. Our waiter was very nice, passionate about his job and his suggestions gave me a long memory. I'm back...

Spare rib very delicate and really recommended, great view over linz; grilled but only with beautiful weather

Under the week we swept into the castle cafe some time ago to enjoy the last sun rays in the large dining garden. it is grilled and so we decide, away from the normal menu, for spare ribs of wood charcoal grill with foil potato 10.90 and a burger with chips 6.50. we also test the self-made icy - today orange/gwer and mint in the offer. the service is quite chatty and stands with advice and did to the side. in the cooler evening we are also offered to cover. the ambiente in the gastronomic garden is very good. next to the gastgarten there is a playground. who wants to have a place directly on the country, in order to be able to enjoy the view of the city without restriction, must reserve it in all cases. the price performance is top and the food is recommended. ribs are very delicate, juicy and fall from the bone. soaked fresh and well tasted to the potato. only manko the ribs are a bit cold. also the ice cream tastes very good and is mainly mixed with little sugar. burger is also in order at the price. patty was quite small. for us, the castle cafe is clearly worth another visit.
