Le Dodici Fontane - LINGUAGLOSSA

Like the hotel in which it is located, this restaurant is modern and elegant. The service was good and the food was excellent. We had a large group, which limited our choices, but we still enjoyed every dish. I don't know whether many guests from elsewhere dine here, but it would be worth the effort.

My wife and I had a fabulous dinner last night at this restaurant, which is a part of the beautiful Hotel Villa Neri Resort and Spa. The service was professional and friendly (thank you, Stefano). We were greeted with complimentary aperitifs and small appetizers. Then came the amuse bouche, a delicious beef carpaccio. All dishes were presented beautifully. Highlights of the meal included a pumpkin and seafood risotto (light and very tasty) first plate and Amberjack raw and cooked preparation (pix included), We were so full that we did not even look at the dessert menu, but were served a lovely (complimentary) chopped pineapple and strawberry concoction (pix included) which we managed to complete! This was a wow experience. Thank you!

The food was simply divine. I cannot explain in words, unfortunately. It definitely lives up to its name. The beef was just out of this world.

Whether staying at Villa Neri, or not, this is a lovely dining experience. The food is simple, beautiful and delicious. The wines, sublime and choices to suit all budgets. Service is unfussy, but always attentive. A lovely setting, inside or out. I look forward to returning when we revisit that side of Sicily next year.

This restaurant is part of the villa neri hotel. Very elegant, you can dine inside or outside depending on the weather, with view to the pool and garden. The chef is young but experienced (former souschef of a 2star michelin) and very creative. He prepares great dishes, always surprising tastes and presentations, but all very tastefull, mostly with local and seasonal products. Treat yourself with a special dinner, sicilian style, and very reasonable prices. The maître is very competent and takes care of your wishes, the sommelier lets you taste the best Etna wines, without cutting a hole in your budget. Enjoy.
