Our family absolutely loves to eat here. The quality of food is definitely superior to most Mexican restaurants in the area. Their carne asada is definitely the best in Lindsay. To top it of the owners are some of the sweetest people and work hard to make our food exactly how we want it. If you want authentic Mexican food this is your place.

Great place, great food great service, strawberry lemonade is the best. It's under a different name now FYI use to be la fortaleza

Found this place on Yelp with 4.5 stars, so I had to check it out. Got there late and there were just the owner's family, the couple came out of the kitchen to greet with a huge smile. The interior was clean and inviting.Btw, come earlier. They run out of all the soups, would've loved to try their menudo.Once seated, we were served our drinks, chips and salsa. They even dressed up the salsa with fresh diced tomato and cilantro, unlike more places just serve plain. Then came the fajitas and taco. The fajitas smelled amazing! It was a huge portion, I left with stuff and happy.Forgot to mention the cucumber juice. It was very flavorful, a must order.

Don't come here, especially if you're hungry. I arrived hungry, they did not provide chips and salsa to us. (Weird because others were provided chips and salsa) but seeing their kids go in the kitchen and cook their food and eat it in front of us ??Overall after all the money I've spent here and after leaving excellent reviews I'm really surprised by the service I recently received. Sad to say we won't be returning here. Had a chili relleno plate and Paid $30 for a molcajete and waited 25 mins for such a small portion of rice and beans it was odd considering we spend over $80 here each visit. Just for their kids to go in the kitchen and cook their food and eat in front of us while we wait for our food while everyone sits and chats we wait... Completely disappointed and will not be back. I spend money where I am treated respectfully and fairly. You won't see me here again. They rip people off here. What a complete shame. No bueno mi gente!!! No bueno. If I could give 0 stars I would! And they don't have menudo on the weekends as advertised! They make whatever they feel like making when they feel like making. No thank you!! SD Elite here to say don't do it!
