Bidra med feedbackCame here for lunch with the family. The decor is kind of a cool retro, with plenty of seating to handle a crowd. The menu is Greek based fare, but dulled down for the Canadian customers. The food is okay but not exceptional, and a little more expensive than expected for the quality received. I'd eat here again as a backup but not as a first choice.
Excellent staff well except the one guy who is a little OTT when it cones to serving a table of ladies. Great value and great menu! This is a relaxed atmosphere with a nice patio. I regular spot for me
Although service was wonderful. The food itself was mediocre at best and somewhat overpriced especially given that I'm from out of town and was really looking forward to authentic Greek cuisine . This restaurants was highly recommended by my hotel as one of the local favorites. I'll certainly be giving them feedback not to recommend this particular restaurant
We were looking unsuccessfully for dinner around 8 pm in Lindsay, a town where there's a limited selection of good restaurants and most places close very early, when a helpful hostess at Pane Vino, a place that was just closing, suggested Olympia. It was a good suggestion. Our party of four was greeted warmly and seated right away. All had the evening's special, a pork schnitzel served with a Greek salad (tomato, cucumber, feta cheese chunks, onion and olives). It was a generous portion of tasty, well-prepared food, served promptly. The price was reasonable. We'd happily go back.
I got take-out $20+ for souvlaki, potatoes, rice Greek salad, the rice spuds, as little as we got had no flavour! Half the $20 meal was Greek salad, I called the owner 2 say this, he couldn't defend it, he did admit that most of the meal is salad. I said I didn't order a Greek salad, he was caught, point taken, it seemed. Not a place I'd return 2! 2nd try, once eat-in 2nd take-out!
