Taheni - Lindenhurst

I am a vegetarian and a very snooty vegetarian at that. I am a very good cook who works very well with flavors and spices. And so I can say this. This Palestinian dive has some of the best Mediterranean dishes....in New York. Most places and people have no idea at all on how to make soft and well cooked falafel. But I got a falafel platter with mujhadara lentil rice) and tabouleh. For sides I chose babaganoush and hummus. Got their tatziki and housemade hot sauce. On theside was one fresh homemade pita. Us got a sweet hibiscus cold tea. Every single thing was out of the ballpark fantastic. Flavors, spice, ingredients just perfectly balanced. I hardly ever go back to the same restaurant.....but thisone.....I intend to go again and again. Can't wait for my son to come back from college so that I can bring him here for some delicious Palestinian food.????

A wholesome, fresh eatery serving up shawarma, burgers, fries and shakes. We tried the Angus Beef Burger which featured a unique and fluffy pita bun and juicy Angus beef. The Zaatar fries were tossed in spice and crispy start to finish. The Baklava shake had the perfect sweetness and unlike what we had expected, with a Desi-esque flavor featuring pistachios. From the service to the decor and food, we felt Taheni nailed their Mediterranean eatery concept and we're lookingforward to chowing down again.

Had the double Peter Angus cheese burger with turkey bacon. One of the best burgers I've ever had

A delightful, fresh esserei that serves shawarma, burger, fries and shakes. we tried the angus beef burger, which contained a unique and fluffy Pita beung and juicy Angus beef. the zaatarfries were sputtered into spices and crispy to finish. the baklava shake had the perfect sweet and in contrast to what we had expected with a desi-esque taste with pistachios. from the service to the decoration and eating we felt that taheni is eating her Mediterranean food concept and we look forward to knocking down again.

Have been loading from this by ordering over eats for months and they can never be satisfactory. I really love the near east and there is no disappointment here. had simply the falafel package with hummus and her hot sauce. I love spicy and it was the perfect heat without exaggerating the whole meal. keep the good work....a real fan here
