So, I checked it out, liked what I saw on their menu, and about a week, and a half later...I finally got to taste their food!! So let's see what they're hittin on!! . Where I am: @grandaddysskillet . The Cornbread...LIKE THAT!! Moist, fluffy goodness!! Their BBQ Chicken Sandwich diced seasoned chicken breast with grilled, onions, red, yellow peppers on a brioche bun $10.40). DELICIOUS!! The Grandaddy's hint of vinegar, sweet bbq sauce with the grilled veggies rounded this sandwich out. I placed a takeout order and went to pick it up, but unfortunately they did not call to let me know they were out of the items I ordered. It was disappointing to drive all the way there only to find out that my order had not been made.

This is the best spot around! go and get a plate, then get another to go. no disappoint. been a few times now and mama d is the definition of love! but it doesn't stop there the whole kitchen staff shows team work, love and care. I can't wait to go back.. as always! ? see ya on turkey wing night!

My husband and I were eagerly anticipating trying out this restaurant, and I must say we were not let down. The food was seasoned perfectly and everything was simply delightful. The owner and staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend this place if you enjoy delicious soul food. The catfish, fried chicken with mambo sauce, cornbread, and baked beans were all incredibly tasty. We can't wait to return.
