The White Hart Hotel - Lincoln

Eat excellent and not too expensive. there are the little things they leave out, not a spoon with the kitchen, no knife with the brot and butter appetizer and no spoon with the coffees after the meal. not to know what from the menu was irritating to say the least, I can not think something worse than ordering just to find out, later there is no available.

While dinner was good, a special mention for joseph!

My steak was fabulous, but the lincolnshire beef of my friend was missing desperately. we were even moved to ask if a part of the meal was missing! two thin pieces of carrot cut, no tweeted flap and the merest proof of celeriac puree. no good choice!

Very beautiful evening. eating was good (steak could have been better, but was not bad enough to complain) although our waiter has trained, he was confident and attentive and I am sure he will be excellent for some weeks. the rest of the staff was beautiful. we will definitely visit again!

More staff than diners.Starters took ages to come and were cold.Sent back and were better on return.Main courses delicious.Due to such slow service and us being on a tight time schedule we didn't have dessert. Final straw was card machine not working so I went to get cash from ATM rather than risk a further delay having to go to main hotel reception to use a card
