Bidra med feedbackVisit this restaurant whenever my wife and I visit Peru and are in Lima. Waiters speak English and have both menus in Spanish and English. Have not found a bad dish, work my way through the menu, and recommend trying everything, it is well cooked and presented. The Chica Morada is the best we cost in Lima.
Yesterday we ate in this restaurant and we had bags at our feet and after we had eaten the bag we were gone. The strange part is that they sat at a place without cameras and moved this table over the room to this empty place, lets me think this was a set. They were happy to call the police and tell them they weren't recordings to prove anything, but they didn't seem to care at all. They said the table next to us must have taken the bag, they didn't pay for food, just look at the menu and left. My son lost his passport and his camera, but the worst part was his magazine he had since he was 8 years old when someone found this magazine, I will offer a $500 reward. Regardless of BEWARE this restaurant, they have probably set up tourists for theft.
See the restaurant when you arrived by taxi to our hotel nearby and thought it looked very elegant. We were very happy with the view inside and the service was top notch. They were always ready when we needed another drink or we were ready to order and they made us welcome. The drinks arrived very quickly and the meals were not far behind. We enjoyed the food and the place is very well presented.
This was a chance to find a delicious restaurant serving Peruvian inspired dishes. Very popular restaurant, glazed and semi-open airy room near Parque Kennedy. The portions were large, so a good way to share and taste some dishes. For the starters we had Pollo Causa, a cold chicken mashed potatoes, which was well seasoned and comes with a turbidity of the seemingly light peas. Then we also had anticucho parillada, a hot grilled beef heart in a spit, very delicate and well seasoned with a light pepper stamp. It was served with grilled potato halves and green shrimp. For Entrees we had the Cabrito Seco (Kasserole of the Young Goat School) and the Osso bucco Norteño (Strohbeefbein). Both were very well seasoned with hints of fresh chiles and came with light sauces. The large portions of rice and bean mash with the goat, rice and potato mash with the beef; no vegetables except the Criollo salad (Citrus-pickled slices of fresh red onions). It was brilliant lunch. Service was excellent.
Fuimos 5 personas a eso de las 9pm a cenar. Atención rápida y amable, nos sorprendió gratamente la calidad de los platos y la cantidad (abundantes) a muy buen precio. Una buena opción.
