MALI Cafe & Restaurant - Lima

This museum café is an attractive, modern space. The waiting staff tried hard, but perhaps because of the language barrier, our request for two ham and cheese sandwiches was designed as a single sandwich to share. The second sandwich came later. Both were perfect...if modest in size and content. With a lemonade and a bottle of water, a total of 42 PEN, a good but not great value. I guess the locals know better opportunities in the neighborhood.

If you find out that you want to visit Mali between visits to other museums and have a bite, this is a pleasant place with simple but good food. The dish for the day was pasta with pesto sauce and it was quite decent.

Good selection of salads, pastas and typical Peruvian dishes. a café ambiance (by name) and the prices are more appropriate than other restaurants I have been in the area.

Nice room and nice menu only attracted us to be waited for over 45 minutes and then said they didn't even begin to make our food! It took 20 minutes to get our water We were there with 3 hungry guys... and ourselves and then we left as this ran our day and ruined our visit to the beautiful museum I would unfortunately avoid this cafe

The cafe at MALI isn't necessarily worth going out of your way for, but is a nice option if you want a bite to eat while visiting the museum. The space is large and breezy (nice during the hot Lima summer) with plenty of tables...and booths. The menu is fairly standard, with salads, sandwiches, and various types of Peruvian food. We just had salads, but they were quite tasty. The waitress was friendly and happily arranged a small change to my order.
