Bidra med feedbackWe had the menu, was 26 Sol ever, with juice, Entré, main and desert, very good quality of food, and the waitress was very friendly
Big portions, waitress didn't speak English, but we did. My girflriend took the dish with creamy sauce with chicken, potato, rice and boiled egg. I had beef with vegetables, rice and fries.
Today I woke up with a desire, all these amazing meats and carb-centric meals have me a fertile lack. A place I found last week and stopped for coffee comes for a few things that caught my eye. I am disappointed to learn that they do not have the sour fruit and therefore cannot mix my primary selection of juices, but I am slowly reading a delicious mix of tropical fruits and swallows. My server arrives to check for me how to end a page and at the same time lunch hunger begins to tug. I go for the Giordano salad, which has a large mix of carrots, palm hearts, tomatoes, asparagus a perfectly grilled chicken breast and the delicious fresh white cheese I love in this country. The salad is presented in a fantastic large and eloquently shaped bowl that perfectly frames the rich combination on the salad bed. The Honey Senfvinaigrette is served seperately in a micro pitcher. My only dissatisfaction with this salad was the bed of the green in his heart, al otherwise was very well prepared and thought out in combination of these flavors, but the salad has a clear bite of rust and asks me to drown it with the dressing. Everything else was phenominal, I will not judge the salad or restaurant by the salad alone - since I really don't have many experiences in Peru to compare salad flavors with in a country that seems to despise the idea of fibrous greens. I had a very great experience and this balanced herbal rich meal really hit the point, I will certainly return to try the Yucca filled with cheese and perhaps a duck. Giordano Café is conveniently located near Miraflores beach access and accepts a visa. A great place for a great lunch on the way to the beach.
I just stopped here to have coffee with my wife and they tried as hard as they could to NOT give me my change. I gave my server 100 sol for a 14 sol bill and had to ask five times for my change after being completely ignored for 20 minutes. THEN they shorted me half my change in an attempt for me not to notice. I then had to argue to get my change back. Beware of these rip offs!
I ordered a salad there last night, which was delivered very late compared to the rest of the food. When I came back to the hotel, I had terrible runs and fever that lasted almost 24 hours. I thought it was safe to order a salad in Miraflores, but I guess they don't practice the same hygiene.
