Sweet Africa - Lille

While visiting my son who is a student at Univ of Lille 3, the 2 of us decided to break the endless glutinous cycle of eating cuisine française and get something totally different. Not only was this totally different, but it was the best meal of my 2 week Paris-Lille visit. The Mafe' Poulet is one of the best chicken dishes I have ever eaten.

We accidentally come across this restaurant while walking past and decided to give it a try. The chef was most helpful and helped us choose a dish (as we did not understand the menu as it wasn 't in English). The food was lovely. He presented us with a starter which was on the house/free of charge . The decor of the restaurant is done in an African theme and the whole ambiance is lovely. It really felt like an African experience . Prices are very reasonable. We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return for another meal when we visit Lille again.

I discovered a good restoration, clean and warm. entrance: pastels a little dry, but calamarts, doughnuts and salad was very good. the main delicious dish, I ate for the first time the attraction (I loved) and the fish doesn't boast any comment a killing. drinking, I took bissap that was good.
