Bidra med feedbackA pleasant outdoor seating area, we were looking for a light meal. They have several different types of tartars, based on seasoning. We wanted to try Thai. It was served with bits of green leaves, covered with crushed peanuts and was tangy and very good. Then we ordered what on the English menu is called “Crusty goat-cheese caramelized beetroot” It was an interesting dish, a sort of an egg roll stuffed with beets and goat cheese. It was really crunchy, and the goat cheese was not very strong. Not sure that it would be my favorite dish, but it was worth trying. Salmon filet, served with lime risotto, was a bit overcooked, even though we asked for it to be pink. The shrimp bisque was basically the sauce for the fish. We also ordered a Caesar Salad, which was very unusual as well. Strips of grilled chicken on one side of the place, and bits of romaine lettuce, tomato and croutons on the other. Finished off with a couple of ice cream bowls, raspberry, coffee rum raisin. The ice cream was very good. Overall a good meal, but not extraordinary in any way. I did notice that majority of the customers at neighboring tables were only getting tartars, which is the signature dish. The service was excellent. Our waiter was very courteous and professional.
Emailed a couple of hours before for a table and no response. Arrived and firstly the tuna wasn’t available then ordered steak with béarnaise sauce ... sauce not available. Not such a good start, but prawn starter was delicious, salmon was well cooked and nicely presented. Steak was ok, felt a little over cooked. Atmospere like a cafe , relaxing and good music. I’m afraid it was nothing special and would not rush back . Presentation wasn’t that great.
Very nice place with a lovely boss. Thank you Karina for your welcome and kindness.
