Aparthotel Albatros

We stayed in this hotel for a week at the end of July 23 and are very satisfied. Room: We booked one of the newly furnished Superior Gold rooms with a view of the pool. The room itself is spacious, has a beautiful new bathroom with rain shower, a kitchenette, dining area for 4 people and a large double bed and a bunk bed. The mattresses on the beds are also new and a little harder but OK. The kitchen is equipped with dishes and some cooking accessories, the latter rather sparse. A dishwasher, hotplates, microwave and quite large refrigerator with freezer compartment are available. What is sorely missing is an oven or at least a mini oven to warm up the pizza we took with us from the day before. The air conditioning works well and also looks almost new. Breakfast: Great, varied, from fresh fruits to cereals, ham, jam, honey, pancakes and much more, everything is there and is replenished very quickly. There are also cakes mini donuts that are not homemade but are quite good. The coffee comes from the fully automatic machine and tastes OK. Pool: The pool appears to have been renovated not too long ago and is clean and well maintained. Although it is compulsory to wear a bathroom cap, fortunately no one seems to be interested in that. The children's pool is ideal for the little ones and is also quite spacious with a nice slide. Loungers and umbrellas could be a little more numerous, as they are often fully occupied. Beach: The beach is about a 5 minute walk away, two loungers and an umbrella are included in the room price excluding the day of departure. These are located approximately in the middle row 15) so they are definitely OK. It's about a 15 minute walk to the pedestrian zone, so you can walk and is particularly recommended for dinner as the surrounding restaurants are rather mixed you should really avoid the pizzeria next to the campsite) Good in the area is the Pizzeria La Rustica about a 5 minute walk on Viale Europa) The children's entertainment and the playroom are OK, although certainly not a reason to book here, but at least there is something on offer. Overall, highly recommended and reasonably priced. We'd love to come back!

We loved it, corner studio apartment with kitchenette, modern, bright, with a nice terrace. Super varied breakfast with excellent quality products. Very nice swimming pool with some sunbeds. Location not bad, still close enough to the centre. Beach umbrella a little too far from the sea. Very friendly and helpful staff. I really think we will be back! Rooms: 5

Very chic hotel, we stayed here for 3 nights and we really enjoyed it! Everything was very clean and well maintained, rooms were very spacious compared to other hotels in Lignano. Breakfast has everything you need and tastes very good. Unfortunately, in rooms with a pool view you can hear the music very loudly, which isn't particularly helpful when falling asleep in the evening. Next time we'll try a room with a garden view.
