Mccauley's - Lifford

This restaurant has the best gravy - it's flavorful and thick. The food is delicious and they have a big menu with some quirky options like twice battered burgers that are visually appealing. The turkey and ham are lovely, and the homemade chips are perfectly cooked. They also serve chicken on the bone and offer lots of fresh vegetables. Unfortunately, I forgot to take photos.

This cafe is just okay. The bathrooms haven't been updated in years. I ordered coffee and a fruit scone, which seemed like it was close to its sell-by date. If I had asked for it to be warmed up, it might have seemed fresher. Would I come back? Maybe, but knowing there are better options just across the border in Strabane, I'd probably just drive on to Strabane instead.

The food is exceptional and the service staff is wonderful.

Great meal with beautiful prices, staffs are very kind and friendly. 1/2 roasted chicken, potatoes, latte. Mixed Grill, tea.
