Bad Schauenburg - Liestal

No flexibility to meet requests. 1. they must book 24 hours for the retreat. the point of having a takeaway option is to provide flexibility as to book. 2. asked if we could stay in the hotel if we could have room service for breakfast and dinner in our rooms to stay safe. they said no. it is a great place, but they really need to work on their hospitality towards potential guests.

This has been the second time we have visited this this location for business reasons. The hotel is characterized by top-notch service, quality food, as well as comfortable accomodation. Definitly a great location!

Absolutely great location, beautifully renovated, excellent eating but all with a price tag. overall very nice experience, clean and modern rooms. breakfast buffet with limited choice beautiful place for a break

My sister and I were invited by close friends to this elegant restaurant. it has a small menu (sometimes I like in the rule) and the service was excellent and attentive, although I had to point to our empty wine glasses in the middle of the meal. prices are quite annoying, which in turn, I think only if the quality of food is not really justifiable. fall in point: I ordered what is called in French her poitrine de porc (pork breast) and in german schweinebauch (pork magen). strange contrast. this dish consisted simply of a thick piece of speck drown in brown sauce. all for 48 Swiss francs. the few vegetables that were distributed around the plate were delicious and perfectly cooked, but this did not compensate the speck. the appetizer, soup, was perfect, except for pieces of smoked salmon lying around the bottom of the bowl. would have been better without the laughs, but I guess they needed to justify the high price of this entréé, and my dessert, something they called mokatino, was one of the worst eating ideas I had in a long time a smorgasbord of textures (including gelatin cubes) with aromen imitating coffee, but it was impossible to know what I had eaten. avoid them at all costs, and they will store the 20 Swiss franc price tied to it. Too bad. I like eating good. I don't like menus and dishes, but they have to be based on intelligent culinary traditions.

For the second time in bad Blickburg for a business owner. the hotel is located in the middle of nature, so it is possible to have beautiful walks between sessions and presentations or even some group sessions outside on the terrace or. the garden. the location in nature really gives a sense to break out of the daily business routine in the office, and it is only a 15min drive from the main station basel. the employees are amazing and very helpful, they know exactly how to accommodate larger groups for these events, as they probably have a lot of experience with it! and then eating for lunch and dinner is exceptional. I would certainly recommend a stay in badschauburg, at some point I hope I also have the opportunity to visit privately to enjoy the hotel and the surrounding forest and hiking trails even more!
