Le Shanghai - Liege

I recently visited this restaurant and was disappointed to find that the "vegetarian" section of the menu was extremely limited. I originally chose the tofu with Sichuan peppers, but after consulting with my partner who had the Chinese language menu, I discovered that it actually contained prawns. I decided to play it safe and ordered the noodles with vegetables instead, after confirming with the staff that it was indeed vegan. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly, but the limited options and potential for confusion were concerning.

We chose chinese vegetables with mushrooms, but there were very few mushrooms and lots of packs and that was it. There was white rice. We should have picked tofu, but we weren't informed about that. For vegans, so very little choice. Other than that, the vegetables were very salty. Half a gallon of water costs 5 euros. Little vegetables with rice cost 12 euros. Updated copy on 2022-10-24-

We've been with my family since I was young and I still like this place. The view is magnificent on the Cathedral square, the frame is very clean and the tables well arranged. The small menu sufficed and the taste was good. I regret, however, that the card does not change

The dishes are very refined, the service is impeccable. Best Chinese in Liège

High-level framework and service. Tasty cuisine. But given the price range, a little more lacking, can be in the presentation of the dishes, or the audacity and flavors of some conventional dishes sometimes... The wines are all delicious.
