As part of the filming of TV1 Franken as a food reporter, I was allowed to look behind the scenes in the Karolinenhöhe restaurant during the ongoing operation. Whether a small company or a wedding the Karolinhöhe offers the right place for every occasion. Particularly noteworthy is the large terrace in front of the house in summer a dream. The small hidden terrace is my personal highlight! The dishes. Honest grounded cuisine, yes I almost want to say: food like Grandma is the point here. The kitchen is run by a cook that has a good feeling for good-bourgeois cuisine. The portions are neat and freshly cooked. A dish that will stay long in my memory were the homemade ham cheese rolls... for me the hit of the day. The chick impresses with its taste with the perfect sauce. The beetles with roasted onions are not finished products, but are actually made themselves. If you had eaten the risotto, you must find an Italian who would not have cooked it better. I can recommend this restaurant with a calm conscience. The staff takes care of the many guests. Always a smile for everyone. Friendly spaces, clean and tidy. My steak was on the point!Also the beer was like the beer cellar.Here the whole family can come. All are welcome.
