We absolutely love to go to Il Poderetto with their charming owners, Alessio and Sara. Whatever you order, the quality is excellent. Alessio is a most charming host en Sara a fantastic cook. Definitely one of our favourite places to go to in the area.

Access to the car park a little bit tricky; we parked in the main square. Friendly young staff, attractive modern building. Varied antipasto including sgabei, creamy stracchino cheese and delicious zucchini-flower fritters. Pleasant steak with pink peppercorn sauce and lovely roast potatoes. My companions enjoyed their roast pork. Fruity lemon sorbet to finish. Less than €25 a head including all the wine and a couple of grappas.

I am fortunate to visit friends in this lovely region where il Poderetto is ALWAYS on the itinerary for a wonderful evening out. You find il Poderetto tucked away beneath a castle and over a Roman bridge, where the warm and friendly Alessio, Sara and their daughter Caterina serve up an incredible dinner of local fare. Every dish they place in front of you is delicious, though our go to choices include the very special (but be warned, very filling! sgabei and antipasti followed by the tagliata di manzo. It is difficult to pace oneself and be disciplined through the early courses but if you can, it 's well worth it! The house wine is a light and satisfying accompaniment. Alessio and Sara with wonderful smiles and great enthusiasm welcome you as if you are family. (PS don 't miss the pepper jam absolutely fabulous and very happy I could bring some home with me! (PSS somehow a bottle of their local olive oil made it into my luggage as well! :

You can eat immersed in the green nature between olive trees and vines. nice to reach the farm walking through the village and the bridge overlooking the taverone. friendly place, friendly staff and good food, excellent appetizers, rich and various truths. I recommend
