Firkin - Libertyville

Great service and great food, as usual. I have been going to the Firkin since they opened. The crusted halibut is a pleaser. And, finding Capital Brewery's Autumnal Fire Doppelbock on tap was such a treat.

Although we were outside, it was still a pleasant time. I I just got a salad with salmon, kambucha, and a burger for Modi, but it was still delicious and prepared well. The service was nice and attentive. I would definitely be back.

15% surcharge on take out orders? then expected people to tip on takeout?? food is good, but not $25 burger/fries good. sorry.

Very cool place. Enjoyed outdoor dining with our dog. Excellent beer and cocktail selections. Good food with wide variety.

Walking in this place was not like I expected. It was very cool inside. Good food and friendly staff.
