Billy's Blue Duck Bbq - Liberal

I was staying in town (chasing storms) and found this was open later than most of the other places in town. The two bartenders were friendly and somewhat conversational. Great selection on the menu. Food came to my spot at the bar quickly. It's not overly noisy and there were quite a few people there. I'll be back the next time I'm chasing storms around town again.

Service Food were great! We were passing through on our way back to Arizona. Thanks to Yelp we found this place enjoyed.

Stopped here on the way to Albuquerque for lunch and enjoyed it very much. Good authentic barbecue. Very tender brisket. Nice ambiance inside. Although we sat outside with our dog. The coleslaw was not so great though. Tasted like something they bought from Sysco. But the sweet potato fries were delicious. It worth heading off the 54 for a few miles.

Good food, good staff. Probably the only true bar atmosphere in this town. Wing choices are lacking but the overall menu is fairly diverse. Avoid hamburgers they are underwhelming at best.

Stopped through town for a baseball recruiting trip and decided to give Billy's a try...so glad we did! Great food, great service and complete local joint. Love a nice local restaurant.
