Le Galet Dore - L'Houmeau

The dining room here is located in a recently built extension. not the horrific soulless construction, which usually brings with it, but a pleasant building with exposed time style stonework and roof beams. there are more and bigger windows than you would have in a time building, but. the style and proportions mean that they sit well and make the dining area bright and cheerful. we had the 35 € menu. I wouldn't say it was a great worth, but if they presented her nicely, this is certainly the place to go. I was thrilled to have the mouclade, but in this case the presentation prevails. too few mushes and an artful puppet player of creamfraiche was interesting, but nothing to improve. the main course had 3 good pieces of different fishing, and the chocolate box dessert was a joy. is important that you were not hungry. there was a mistake that led to a delay of our desserts. the delay was not long enough to worry us, although the waiter and manager have apologized to us separately. these things happen, and this is not a complaining, but mentioned to prove that this is a device that really cares about the service it offers.

We had a party of eight aged from 14 upwards, the owner gave us a warm welcome, menu in French but did help with the odd word we couldn't translate, the font used was rather fancy and didn't help, but this is being rather picky,...We all thought the servings were on the large side , especially the chocolate mouse, it's big and it's tasty! Between us we had steak, salads, burgers and double salmon burger all were very tasty.. It decor is very smart but casual. We had a few in our party who weren't into fish or seafood which is difficult when you're holidaying near the Fench coast! But everyone found a good choice here. PS we thought the French Fries were very good!,

Very pleasant meal with two families. great eating, efficient service, comfortable environment (terrace or air conditioning inside).

Service is very attractive and friendly, and the kitchen is tasteful and original. a very good time with family it must be said that the child menu is prepared with as much attention what changes and it is appreciable. special mention for the dessert I loved.

Nice decoration, friendliness of the staff at the appointment, exquisite dishes, what more?. a reasonable addition. So it's all there.
