Bidra med feedbackI don't know how to explain how much I love this place differently than to say in a single 3 days trip, I went every day! yes a little bit about the top, but it happened by coincidence, as in the city for a conference the midday company that wanted to join me every day Italian. fortunately, her menu is as diverse as I never do twice! I love that their nude sauces are all freshened in the house! I personally like to make my own shells, but in several trips over 2 stays in the lex area in the 3 years I also tried som spinning. they cannot go wrong with much on the menu! it is near Great Britain the campbell house hilton hotel downtown lex. you would miss if you skipped it!
How can I describe Pasta Garage? Not simply limited to inclusion of fresh, quality ingredients when making delicious pasta and desserts, but offering a variety of experiences. Whether you are dining in, attending a Pasta making class, celebrating a private event in Banchetto, or receiving food from the Pasta Mobile at local farmer's markets, this restaurant is innovative, always looking for new and creative ways to best serve customers. As you can see from the kitchen, the staff works incredibly hard to provide quality food and service. If you love not only fresh pasta, but also quality experiences when dining, Pasta Garage is the perfect place for you.
I have been wanting to try the Pasta Garage for a while so I was super excited when we made the trip. Unfortunately, it wasn’t as good as expected. The service was friendly but the food was a bit lacking. I went back and forth between a 4 and 5 star since some of my critiques was personal but ultimately the food was not hot. The pasta itself was very fresh but I am a sauce person and my Ragu Alla Bolognese was under sauced and had three tiny pieces of meat. When I looked at other google pics before our visit I saw the dish and it did have more sauce than mine when it was served. My husband had the Baked Ravioli and it was a much better dish and had a great flavor. I was not a huge fan of their bread sticks because they were a bit airy for me but that is just personal preference. The portion size of both dishes was very good.
I’ll go back to try different dishes! I love the idea of this restaurant. Think of the set up as a locally owned, freshly made at the restaurant, pasta class offering, Fazoli’s. I got the fettuccine carbonara and my husband got the chicken parm. Both were flavorful but not piping hot. The breadsticks they came with were not my fave. Hubs wanted to try the cheese sticks and I *had* to get a cannoli to-go. I saw a Caesar salad at another table which looked phenomenal and the couple was sharing one salad between the two of them. They also have a Bodega where you can purchase anything pasta and pasta sauce related to-go, gelato as well, and you can also pick up their products at stores around the Bluegrass area. When you go be sure to check in, as their sign says they donate to charity for checking in
Gnocchi appetizer was delicious but we didn't get much! The entrees were all pretty tasty but serving sizes were a bit small, especially for the price and it's pasta. Very cute little place, service was friendly and quick!
