O'Charley's - Lexington

Props to all the restaurants doing curbside and delivery during this quarantine stay safe at home time that we 're living in. But special props to O 'Charleys restaurant on Nicholasville Rd. O 'Charleys is getting this whole curbside and delivery prep service right they know how to package their food for delivery and still make sure their customers receive a quality meal comparative to what they would get if they were dining in. Recently, my son who is working in another state, called me up for Mother 's Day and wanted to order my husband and I a meal delivered from any restaurant in Lexington. My choice. My Mother 's Day gift. I didn 't hesitate when choosing from where to get this meal. I chose O 'Charleys on Nicholasville Rd. Why? Because I know that O 'Charleys knows how to prep and package their food for delivery so that we receive a quality meal much like if we were dining in with them. Precious few can boast that ability. Sure enough, when our delivery arrived it was delicious. Partly because their food is quality and so good and partly because they do the little things that add up to the big things. My chicken pieces came wrapped in foil so they stayed warm like they 're supposed to; they remembered the salad dressing and the rolls and even sent the butter. They are one of my go to delivery places because I know I will get a great meal thanks to their extra effort and attention to detail. They use Door Dash for their delivery and even though I don 't care for Door Dash because they upcharge a restaurant 's menu prices on every item and they add some mysterious fees and then you have deliver charge and tip but I will bear all that to get the stellar packaging and thoughtfulness of O 'Charleys! Thanks staff! Props to all those eateries feeding us through this crisis but big recognition and shout out to the peeps over at O 'Charley 's on Nicholasville Road in Lexington!

My husband and I went here for dinner earlier tonight. We had a very nice waitress; and I believe the manager actually found us a table. We were so hungry that we had actually devoured our food before I had a chance to get a picture of it. We split one of the combination meals: salmon and steak with 2 sides. We decided that to save money but still get a decent meal, that would be our best option. His salmon was absolutely amazing. I even had a little piece. The seasoning they put on there was to die for. Literally. Absolutely scrumptious. Unfortunately, my steak...well yes part of it were medium rare and then other part of it were well done. I don't believe they did a very good job when they decided to select a steak. I also felt like they just put salt on it and decided that was the best way to go. Perhaps, I thought that they would put a little more effort into their steaks; but in all honesty, their steak was equivalent to that of Applebee's (which I almost never go to because the food makes me sick)The broccoli sides that we had, that was ok. It was broccoli after all. I do not recall our waitress' name, seeing that I always like to comment, especially if he/she was fantastic. She kept my husbands unsweetened tea full. So overall, yes it was an ok experience. But having not been to an OCharley's in about 5 years....which my husband and I just LOVED their food. Perhaps they changed their menu and perhaps their cooks just weren't up to the standard they had 5 years ago. I'm not sure. But either way, I honestly don't think that we will be coming back.

Family night at O'Charley's was great. Plenty of parking and No Reservations needed. Very friendly service and comfortable seating. One of my favorites is the dinner roll butter basket they offer when seated. We love it because rolls are perfect with dinner entree and it's good for a little snack while you wait.

This locations decor is a bit tired and dated. The wait staff was very slow to greet and seat us. That food was tasty and prepared nicely. An service once we were seated was ok. I'd return to an O'Charley's, perhaps not this though.

Love O' Charley's!!!! Love the soup and salad lunch specials. The loaded baked potato is the best!!!! Came for a late lunch on New Year's Eve. No wait and great service!!! Had some hangry kids... so we ordered an app to share and the kids meals off the bat with our drinks. Which I think threw the waitress off (sorry but she was happy to do it that way. Kids food came out quick and we ordered our entrees from there. Entrees also came out quick!!!! Food was hot, well portioned, and drinks were always full! This waitress went above and beyond and she was outstanding! Spent about an hour here we ordered 1 app 2 kids meals (which are free with an adult entree everyday!!! soup and salad lunch special and the southern chicken meal!!!! I unfortunately don't have my waitresses name but ticket info is: 12 31 19 @1:30pm check : 1509861 table : 84. This girl deserves some recognition!!!!!
