Baked Just So - Lewisville

My mother was so excited to try this place out, we are health conscious and so we were happy that they were requiring masks. Even though we are both vaccinated) There’s even signs on the front doors that say they require masks. We walk in and the employee isn’t wearing a mask. : we walked right back out.

Tucked away where it is easy to miss, this little gem is a delightful place to ruin your diet. The pastries are college town/European style. There needs to be a bookstore nearby. I particularly enjoyed the savory items.

I waited way too long to stop in at the new Baked Just So location. First of all, it's such a great space. They have tons of lotions, candles, and local products in the gallery, aside from their amazing coffee and baked goods! Charley and Ady were so kind and knowledgeable about the products and recommendations. I knew I had to try the Chad's Chai and it didn't disappoint. It has a robust, spicy flavor that's just what I expect from a good chai. You can tell it's a fresh, great quality chai which bonus, it comes from local Chad's Chai of Winston Salem! I truly struggled to choose from all the baked goods because everything looked so good. They had tons of bars, croissants, scones, whoop pies, just about anything you can think of. With the help of Ady's recommendations, I settled on a cranberry orange scone, a cinnamon roll, an oatmeal cream pie, and a blueberry pie bar! Of course I sampled everything and the one thing I noticed throughout, right off the bat, was the freshness and integrity of the ingredients. Those tart cranberries contrasted with the creamy orange in the scone was perfection. The delicious icing between those decadent oatmeal cookies. The dreamy blueberries in that decadent pie bar! And just look at that cinnamon roll no explanation needed. The price is also OUTSTANDING for the quality! This is going to be a regular stop in my rotation now.
