Great to be home again and eat where we had so many family meals.?

Right off the highway, good place for a breakfast before hitting the lakes, or lunch on the way down from the mountains. Very 'local ' feel. With cheerful, attentive, and helpful wait-staff that seated and served us even though our party arrived minutes before closing. Try the coleslaw!

It's so hard when you don't know what's open in tiny small towns for food when you are on vacation. We dropped by Mtn. Valley for lunch today in this tiny old mining town. Wow. The service was amazing...one young lady who was super professional and polite. She seemed so interested in where we were from..our dogs..she was sweet. And the food? Yum. My schoolhouse club was huge and delicious! Their tater salad was soo fresh and flavorful..bein an Idaho girl, I know my tater salad. The ice tea was so cold and my hubby's burger was very tasty. The fries were cooked to perfection. We haven't had the greatest dining experience in Cali this week...so thank you Mtn. Valley!

Awesome food good people the place takes me back to being a kid.

Visiting from another state and found this little gem! We made it just in time for breakfast which is no longer served after 11 am. The coffee was great and the food was made french to order so it did take about 15-20 minutes to get but well worth the wait. The waitress was friendly and the restaurant atmosphere was nice, clean, and a mix of music playing for a variety of individuals.
