Bidra med feedbackMy first visit to Toto Peppe was pleasant. Upon entering, I noticed the beautiful interior and clean dining room, which was small and cozy. The staff was friendly and we were promptly greeted and shown to our table. However, the service was a bit slow at times and our waitress never returned to check on our drinks, despite there being only 2 other tables occupied. The food was okay, but nothing special. I have had better dining experiences elsewhere. The pizza crust was a bit dry. The owner was friendly, but I found it a bit rude that he spoke Italian to my partner at the table. He did apologize for the oversight.
I, like other reviewers of this restaurant, was blown away by my visit here and will definitely be returning often. The pasta we tried was made with ingredients from small Italian suppliers and was absolutely delicious. The value was great and the taste was wonderful. The atmosphere and service were equally fantastic, and it truly feels like being in Italy. I can't recommend this place enough!
It is as if you come from Lewisham Street in florenz, neapel or rom! great new and very authentic modern Italian restaurant. they run through the experience of antonio (tototo), which they will recognize by gennaros deli next door and business partner peppe. I have eaten twice there and the pizza is great, plus they have arranged a good selection to others, or just go for aperitivo.
I have been frequenting Gennaro's Deli since I moved to London 22 years ago. It is truly a dream come true to see such a beautiful place with a lovely atmosphere and friendly people at the bar enjoying coffee or drinks and snacks. I recently had dinner with my family of 12, including 3 kids and 3 seniors, and it was a heavenly experience. The service was fantastic and welcoming, making us feel at home. The staff were all friendly and checked in to see if everything was to our liking (which it was). The wine selection was incredible, with standout options like Malvasia and Nero D'Avola that were both delicious. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience at Gennaro's Deli.
When I came in here, I feel like in a bar in italy! the ambiente, the wood stove, the friendly Italian people and not least the food are ok (the foods were better, but before the quality went down easily). they only served in the evening pizza, but on the day they have something broth, fried fruit and pasta.
