The Crown Tavern - Lewisham

The atmosphere at this restaurant is lovely, with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Booking online was a breeze, even for a last-minute reservation. Most importantly, the food was excellent.

I went with friends and family to the Crown on boxing day for my birthday. We had a great time. Robbie who served us really looked after us, the food was good and so was the atmosphere. Thanks everyone for a great evening.

We went to this restaurant to celebrate a friend's birthday on Boxing Day. There were 6 adults, a 3-year-old child, and a dog in our group. We were warmly welcomed by our server Robbie, who provided excellent service. He made sure we were all satisfied and took the time to have meaningful conversations with us, making our friend feel extra special. The food was delicious as well. Thank you, Robbie!

We had a fantastic Christmas Festive meal! It was very satisfying, with plenty of roast vegetables. Our server Daisy was attentive and provided great service.

The most terrible experience here we booked a table for 18 people 3 being kids in high chairs This was all booked And deposit payed We had only enough seating for 12 people We asked for another table at first that was not something they was prepared to do after some fuss we got a extra table from the bar area We was told to pre order our food so we could eat together that didn't happen food come out at different times sides before main so the time mains come out side was coldish and tbh some of the mains was just about warm The manager although not quite sure how that was on the defence as if this terrible set up was our fault we was told that they did not want to accept our booking but head office made them and thats why there was not room for us They did not once come over too see if we was ok or clear the tables and absolute disaster from start to finish This was a regular Sunday spot for us but no more Thank you for a terrible atmosphere cold food and customer service I heard a member of staff talking to someone about us not nice was discounted but that is not the point we wasn't going there for that So that’s there way of sorry But we did not have the day we was hoping for
